What is Preventive Maintenance?
The concept of Preventive Maintenance contains planned maintenance to improve
equipment life and avoid any unplanned, corrective maintenance activities. The
purpose is to minimize breakdowns and excessive depreciation and to maximize
availability and reliability during the entire life span. The detailed
Preventive Maintenance work is realized according to the system maintenance
manual and to the GUTOR maintenance checklist.
Warranty
The scope of maintenance work has to be documented on the GUTOR standard forms,
which are the basis for the warranty. During the warranty period the respective
maintenance work has to be performed by an educated, GUTOR trained, licensed
Service Engineer.
Planning & Execution
GUTOR Customer Service
International supports our customers in Preventive Maintenance. While planning
the maintenance the work tasks and time schedule has to be agreed between GUTOR
and customer based on the maintenance manual.
In order to achieve the best results we propose that the customer performs the
monthly and semi-annual check-up and GUTOR service engineers take care of the
annual maintenance including check on system / battery and preventive parts
replacement. In addition all maintenance efforts have to be recorded by all
involved parties, which provides system owner with the exact status of system
and scheduled maintenance activities.
