Double conversion:
Of alternating current (AC) to direct current (DC) via a rectifier, and from DC to AC using a pulse-width modulated IGBT inverter system.
Online:
In contrast to offline technology, where the load is supplied by a bypass, and the inverter system is only activated in the event of a power cut, the GUTOR UPS inverter system continuously supplies the load. This is particularly important for critical users, where even 5-10 minutes’ transfer time between the bypass and inverter could be problematic.
Modular construction:
The UPS consists of galvanically separated transformers, inverter system, rectifier and a static switchover module. The design has great flexibility with regard to the selection of input, DC and voltage output parameters, but also with regard to the output rating (kVA).
Parallel redundant / active load sharing:
Two or more units can be switched in parallel, with each unit supplying its own part of the power output. This gives ultimate security and functionality. And thanks to a lower operating temperature, greater durability too.
